North Dundas Mayor Eric Duncan talks about his community and his duties in this still taken from the Rural Ontario Institute's video profile.

NORTH DUNDAS — Mayor Eric Duncan is true to his school and his North Dundas roots in a video profile recently released by the Rural Ontario Institute (ROI).

The 28-year-old Duncan was one of three individuals chosen for ROI’s first Youth Engagement Showcase — out of 50 nominees — highlighting young leaders who make a difference in their rural Ontario communities. The YouTube video (link below) features Duncan interviewed while on the move at various locations in the municipality, cut with outdoor scenes and drone footage highlighting North Dundas itself.

ROI bills itself as a “non-profit organization committed to developing leaders, initiating dialogue, supporting collaboration and promoting action on issues and opportunities facing rural Ontario communities.”
