Avonmore Fair officially opened

In the video below,¬†Roxborough Agricultural Society President Neil Robinson introduces the guests on the opening day podium, starting with Township of South Stormont Mayor Jim Bancroft (appearing on behalf of the SD&G warden),Township of North Stormont Councillor Jim Wert (appearing on behalf of Mayor Dennis Fife), Ontario Association of Agricultural Societies District 1 Homecraft Director Lynda McCuaig, OAAS District 1 Ag Director Evelyn Bernique and Ontario Queen of the Furrow Kathryn Chant, Stormont Queen of the Furrow Alyssa Waldroff and Glengarry Queen of the Furrow Brittany MacIntosh. Speaking first are MP Guy Lauzon and MPP Jim McDonell, followed by an edited selection of the other distinguished guests. The Fair’s official opening took place 1 p.m. on Sat., July 16.
