AVONMORE — It should be an especially smooth return to Roxmore Public School when buses roll up the driveway this September, after the six-figure overhaul of the school’s parking lot this summer.
Upper Canada District School Board (UCDSB) officials say the schoolyard’s asphalted areas and landscaping are being replaced “due to condition and respective of the agreement we have with the Municipality of North Stormont for busing and parking.”
The project has a price tag of $271,560, according to the UCDSB.
North Stormont owns the community centre next door, North Stormont Place.
