MORRISBURG — The Municipality of South Dundas and Lakeshore Drive United Church have partnered with the Dundas County Food Bank for the third year of the South Dundas Snowsuit Fund.  To reach those most in need, the trio has created a new process for receiving a donation.

Residents of South Dundas wishing to receive a donation can register at the Dundas County Foodbank — 28 Ottawa Street, Morrisburg — October 3 through October 14. Registrants will receive a voucher that can be redeemed at the South Dundas Municipal Office from November 4 to December 2 during regular office hours (8:30 a.m. to 4:30 pm). Snowsuits will not be given during any other time. For more information, please contact the Dundas County Foodbank at 613-543-0065.

The Municipality of South Dundas is accepting the following new or gently used items, in all sizes, for boys and girls:

  • Snowsuits
  • Winter Coats
  • Mittens & Scarves

These items can be dropped off at the South Dundas Municipal Office from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
