SOUTH DUNDAS — Police continue their search for a man appearing on a MacEwen gas station video surveillance camera as he fuelled up a pickup truck allegedly stolen moments earlier in Morrisburg.
The 2003 Chevrolet Silverado with no tailgate was taken in broad daylight Sept. 24 from Morrisburg Building Centre on County Rd. 2. The SD&G OPP say that officers were called to the scene within half an hour of the vehicle’s disappearance, at 4:41 p.m.
Further investigation revealed the suspect attended the nearby MacEwen’s and pumped a quantity of fuel, then left the station paying, according to police, who have released the man’s image.
