‘Socktober Day’ precedes Thanksgiving at NDDHS

Students are more than ready for this long Thanksgiving weekend.

The annual Terry Fox Run at North Dundas DHS on Thursday, Sept. 29 was a success! The participants raised $3,264 in pledges to help make cancer history. The top fundraisers were Savannah Coleman, Ewan Wilson, Ashley Wheeler and Jared Wicks. Thank you to Apple Stock Orchard and Mountain Orchard for donating apples that the students enjoyed after the event.

Junior girls basketball took place at 1 p.m. and senior girls basketball took place at 2:30 p.m. in the gym at NDDHS. Girls 7’s Rugby also took place Tuesday, Oct 4, at the school.

The junior and senior girls basketball teams head off to St. Lawrence College on Wednesday, Oct. 5, Photo retakes took place this morning for students who requested them. Band for credit will take place Wednesday, Oct. 5 and Thursday, Oct. 6, after school.

Friday, Oct. 7, is Socktober day! Students and staff can participate by wearing crazy socks throughout the day that they normally would not wear.
