WINCHESTER — Winchester Open Mic Night, the popular weekly coffeehouse that has run at the Old Town Hall since the summer of 2012, now includes a light community meal.

Organizers want to offer the community a warm, inclusive place to meet, share food, good music and conversation.

“We are the only sixties-style coffeehouse in the valley, that we know of, that is accessible, alcohol-free, and geared for adults,” says Ann Brady of the North Dundas Arts Council which runs the event. “And we’re keeping with our tradition of free admission, which now includes a light meal,” she adds. “It’s a place where you can arrive hungry but leave happy.”

Winchester Open Mic Night takes place every Thursday evening, 7 to 10 p.m., at the Old Town Hall in Winchester.
