LONG SAULT — A South Stormont man was arrested and charged Oct. 26 with uttering threats and criminal harassment — a day after police arrested and charged him in connection with damages sustained by Longue Sault Public School this fall.

The SD&G OPP say their investigation into an Oct. 26 complaint indicated an adult male had uttered threats online to members associated with a Bethune Ave. address.

William McDonald, 22, is also charged with failing to comply with a recognizance imposed after his Oct. 25 arrest on several charges related to incidents involving the school property.

The accused was held in custody pending a bail appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.
