Last call for Dundas County Good Neighbour Award youth nominees

DUNDAS COUNTY — Do you know of a young person who exemplifies the qualities of being a good neighbour?

There’s still a bit of time left to nominate them for a Dundas County Good Neighbours Award — until Nov. 1.

An initiative of Linking Hands (House of Lazarus), this is the third year for the Good Neighbours Award program, and the second involving separate awards for youth volunteers.

Organizers say they already have plenty of nominations for adult good neighbours in both North and South Dundas, but they’ve extended the deadline until tomorrow (Nov. 1) to ensure a chance for more youth nominees 18 years old or younger.

Send entries to scasselman@houseoflazarus.com or to linkinghandscontest@gmail.com, or drop them off at any Dundas County library, the municipal offices in both North and South Dundas, or at the House of Lazarus in Mountain. Download the nomination form here.
