NORTH DUNDAS A South Dundas woman is accused of driving while impaired by a drug, after SD&G OPP officers were called Dec. 11 to the scene of a ditched vehicle on Development Rd.

Police say they seized a quantity of suspected cocaine from inside the vehicle and also determined the motorist to be under the influence of a drug — in violation of the law as well as an earlier condition imposed upon her.

Police say that 29-year-old Callie Piticco — her name was misspelled in the original OPP press release issued Dec. 12, as verified by Constable Joel Doiron —  is charged with: Care or Control of a Vehicle While Impaired by a Drug; Possession of a Controlled Substance; and Fail to Comply with an Undertaking.

The accused was arrested and held in custody pending a bail appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.
