EMBRUN — The Growing Women’s Health national campaign at Shoppers Drug Mart is making a difference at the local level – including at Winchester District Memorial Hospital. Recently, some members of the Shoppers Drug Mart team in Embrun presented a cheque for $2,922 to the Winchester District Memorial Hospital Foundation for the cancer care fund.

“This is a great early Christmas present,” notes WDMH Managing Director Kristen Casselman. “Thank you to Shoppers Drug Mart and their customers for their support of our patients and families.”

Since 2002, the program has raised over $29 million across Canada with 100 percent of all proceeds benefiting local Women’s Health initiatives such as services at local hospitals.
