Russell County OPP seek shoplifting suspect caught on store video

Russell County OPP are seeking this individual — captured on video — in connection with alleged shoplifting at the Rockland Walmart.

ROCKLAND Russell County OPP seek the public’s assistance in identifying a male responsible for an alleged shoplifting at the Rockland Walmart.

The theft occurred on the evening of Jan. 2, according to the detachment.  The male was captured on video surveillance cameras in the store.

The suspect is described as a white male, in his mid-30s, with facial hair (moustache and beard), wearing glasses and a pair of black, round earrings. He may be wearing a checkered black-and-white baseball hat, a checkered blue and grey vest and blue jeans.

Any person with information regarding the identity of the suspect should contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122.

Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477(TIPS), where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
