Rockland man charged with flight from police

ROCKLAND — Russell County OPP have charged a Rockland man with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and flight from police after a vehicle attempted to elude police in Clarence-Rockland.

Shortly after 2 p.m. on Jan. 23, Constable William Daigle observed a vehicle driving with no plate on Charlebois Street. The officer activated the emergency lights and siren to pull over the vehicle but the motorist accelerated through a stop sign. The vehicle stopped in a private driveway where the male driver was arrested.

Charged is 18-year-old Miguel Couturier-Bernard of Rockland.
