EMBRUN — Police continue their search for an armed man who robbed the Caisse Populaire Trillium in Limoges yesterday evening.

Members of the Russell County OPP were dispatched to the scene around 5:45 p.m. on Feb. 15.

Police say the man’s face was concealed as he entered the bank with a weapon, approached the cashier and demanded money. Staff cooperated and no injuries resulted. After retrieving the money, the male fled on foot.

No clients were present in the bank at the time of the event.

Police describe the male suspect as being 5’9″ to 5’10” in height — and thin at approximately 160 to 170 lbs in weight. He wore a scarf around his face and black-framed glasses. His clothing included a black jacket with hoodie pulled up over his head, black/blue pants, along with a blue hat and backpack. He’s also described as speaking English of unknown accent.
