N. Dundas Chamber of Commerce targets May 13 for revived Trade Show; organizational meeting tonight

March 2 meeting starts 6:30 p.m. at Cup of Jo’s

WINCHESTER — The North Dundas Chamber of Commerce continues to plan for its first spring trade show in several years — now targeting Mother’s Day weekend at the Joel Steele Community Centre.

The event is tentatively slated May 13, says Chamber President Rachel Potvin, who aims to draw enough vendors to fill both the main arena surface and the upstairs hall at the building formerly known as Winchester Arena.

For anyone interested in helping out with the upcoming show, another organizational meeting is scheduled 6:30 p.m. this evening (Thursday, March 2) at Cup of Jo’s in Winchester.

Potvin says they’re also talking about having outdoor airbounce activities on site at the Arena yard to help drum up crowds for the admission-free North Dundas Trade Show.
