Obituary – Lyle Wellington Loucks

Lyle Wellington Loucks

Peacefully at the Winchester Hospital on Sunday, March 5. Lyle Loucks of Chesterville, age 93. Loving husband of Shirley Loucks (nee Shay). Loving father of Heather Broughton (Al) of Ottawa. Lyle will be sadly missed by his grandsons Sam and Avery. Dear brother of Betty Campbell (late Stan) of Ottawa and Beatrice LaRose (late Eddy) of Ottawa. Predeceased by his sister Dolores Kittle (Arnold) and his brother Ralph Loucks. Will also be fondly remembered by nieces and nephews. A caring and thoughtful man, Lyle was a devoted member of the United Church and Masonic Lodge. He was a hard-working dairy farmer who enjoyed his well-earned retirement in 1991 in their then-new house in Chesterville. Confined to bed for the last year, he appreciated the tender and loving care given to him at home. To the last day, he remained kind, good-natured and jovial.
