NDDHS excels at Skills Competition; prom fundraiser paint night Thursday

The Eastern Ontario Skills Competition took place on Tuesday, Feb 28. 20 students from NDDHS showed their skills in drama, video production, transportation, manufacturing or construction. Congratulations to Veronica Thompson, Tasha Soltesz and Meagon Don for winning gold in the drama skills part of the competition.

Brandon Scheepers won bronze will be moving onto the next qualifier in Kingston on Saturday, Apr. 1 with Bobby Walker.  Anna Gruich and Sierra McFaul will also be heading to Kingston for video production. Jeremy Gutkenecht won sliver in cabinet making and has a spot at the Provincials in May in Toronto. Congratulations to everyone for their hard work in the Skills Competition.

Mme. Gravel-Groulx and Mme. Poirier had a blast with a group of students in the French Immersion program tubing and skiing at Mont. St. Sauce it on Friday, March 3.

Congratulations to the Girls’ Curling Team who placed fourth and the Mixed Curling Team for placing third in the EOSSA Competition on Wednesday, March 1 and Thursday, March 2.

Parent Teacher Interviews are Thursday, March 9 from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.

Grade 12 students will be collecting bottles and cans door to door on Sunday, March 26 in the Winchester and Chesterville areas. This will help lower the cost of every North Dundas grade 12 students’ Prom ticket.

You won’t want to miss Paint Night at North Dundas DHS on Thursday, March 23 from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. This is a Prom fundraiser for Grade 12 students, so come on down and show your artistic side with our principal Mrs. Beaudette as the artist!
