Students and staff are back into the swing of things after a well deserved March Break.
Congratulations to both the intermediate girls and boys basketball teams for playing their best at the Tournament in Russell! The girls’ team won all of their games and the boys’ team won 4 out of 6 of their games. Both teams will be heading to the Regional Tournament in Grenville.
Grade 12 students will be collecting bottles and cans door to door on Sunday, March 26 in the Winchester and Chesterville areas. This bottle drive will help decrease the cost of every North Dundas grade 12 students’ Prom ticket.
The Paint Night Prom Fundraiser will be rescheduled from this Thursday night to early April. There will be room for 20 people and it will be $40 per person. This is a Prom Fundraiser for grade 12 students, so come on down and show your artistic side with our principal Brenda Beaudette as the artist!
Tape-A-Student-To-The-Wall will be happening tomorrow Thursday, March 23 during secondary lunch. Students and staff can purchase pieces of Duct Tape for $2 during the event, generously donated by Winchester BMR. Brandon Scheepers and Brett Lannin are the two students who will be taped to the cafeteria wall to help lower the cost of this year’s Prom tickets. The object of this fundraiser is to have the students stand on a chair and have them taped to the wall. Then the chair will be removed and they will be stuck on the wall.
We will be hosting the Dundas Cup on Friday, March 24. Secondary students can purchase their tickets for $5 during lunch outside of guidance until Thursday, March 23 and Intermediate students can purchase their tickets in their home room for $5 until tomorrow as well. The day will be fun for everyone as it will include an intermediate game, girls game, boys game, and figure skating. There will also be a canteen open during this event.
The chilli dinner and auction will be happening next Thursday, March 30 from 5p.m. until 9p.m. General admission will be $10 per person and $5 for children. Come support this year’s prom by enjoying some chilli and participating in the live auction. Our auctioneer will be Brandon Scheepers.
The auction items will decrease the cost of the students Prom ticket who brought the item in, and the admission will decrease the cost of every grade 12 North Dundas students’ Prom Ticket.
