95-year-old man identified as deceased in Elma crash

ELMA — Police have released the name of the South Dundas man killed in a collision with a tractor trailer at an intersection outside Elma yesterday.

William Morrison, 95, succumbed to his injuries at hospital, say the SD&G OPP.

Morrison was driving a car northbound on Boucks Hill Road and entered County Rd. 7, colliding with the eastbound truck, according to police.

The driver of the tractor trailer was not injured in the early afternoon crash.

All roads have been re-opened.

OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) and an OPP Reconstructionist continue to investigate.
