Surveillance images released
RUSSELL — Russell County OPP have released images of a suspected thief in connection with gasoline taken at the Russell MacEwen station.
Officers responded to the reported theft on March 13.
Security camera footage shows a man filling up his car and two jerry cans before leaving the scene without paying. He drove a blue sedan — possibly a Mazda Protégé — bearing Ontario marker “PANIK” reported stolen from the Ottawa area.

Out of control male
ROCKLAND — Russell County OPP report being called to the scene of an out-of-control male who is believed to have taken a mix of prescription medications and illegal narcotics in Rockland.
During transport to the hospital the male became violent and damaged the inside of the police vehicle. As a result, the male was charged with one count of mischief.
Police are reminding residents of the danger of mixing legal and illegal drugs as a result of the March 18 incident.
Search for stolen truck
LIMOGES — Officers are currently investigating the theft of a black 2004 Dodge Ram with Ontario licence number DA12819 from a home on Calypso St. in Limoges.
The theft took place sometime overnight between March 9 and 10 and it is believed the suspect broke the driver side window of this vehicle.
