EMBRUN — The North Dundas Rockets and Embrun Panthers square off this afternoon in what could be the final game of the best-of-seven series.
It’s do or die time for the Rockets, now trailing Embrun 3-1 in the series after dropping two back-to-back games Friday and Saturday night.
The teams were in a dead heat after the first two games last weekend, with Embrun striking first blood in a 6-3 win March 17, followed by the Chesterville-based Rockets’ convincing 4-1 victory at home the following evening.
Game 5 is set to begin 1:30 p.m. in Embrun.
Update: Embrun took the game 8-4, winning three straight to capture the series 4-1. The Rockets issued the statement below via Facebook.
