Grade 12 students collected bottles and cans door to door on Sunday March, 26 in the Winchester and Chesterville areas. Thank you to all of the community members who donated their bottles and cans, it was a huge success as we made over $550. This bottle drive will help decrease the cost of every North Dundas grade 12 students’ Prom ticket.
Thursday, March 30 grade 10 students will be writing the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT). Good luck to everyone who will be writing.
The Paint Night Prom Fundraiser will take place on Thursday, April 20. There will be room for 20 people and it will be $40 per person. If interested, you can sign up at SurveyMonkey.com. This is a Prom Fundraiser for grade 12 students, so come on down and show your artistic side with our principal Brenda Beaudette as the artist!
The Dundas Cup on Friday March 24. Congratulations to all of the players for their very hard work and dedication. The day started off with the Intermediate Hockey team who won their game against Seaway 9-1. Followed by a figure skating demonstration from the North Dundas Figure Skating team. Then the Girls Team played a close game against Seaway, coming out 0-1 for the Girls Seaway team. This was followed by another figure skating demonstration by the North Dundas Figure Skating team. The day ended with the Boys team who won 6-0 against Seaway.
The Chilli Dinner and Auction will be happening on Thursday March 30 from 5p.m until 9p.m. It is $10 per adult $5 for children aged 11 and under. Come support this year’s prom by enjoying some chilli and participating in the live auction. Our auctioneer will be Brandon Scheepers.
The auction items will decrease the cost of the students Prom ticket who brought the item in, and the admission will decrease the cost of every grade 12 ND students’ Prom Ticket who contributes to this event.
Grade 12 students will be putting together a very fun night for grade 9-11 students as a Prom Fundraiser. Junior Prom will take place on Thursday, April 13 from 5:30p.m. – 10:00p.m. Tickets will be sold from Monday, April 3 until Tuesday, April 11 for $15 each. Students can look forward to a semi-formal pasta dinner with their choice of either Alfredo or tomato sauce with add ins of meat and vegetables. The dance will follow the dinner and will take place at NDDHS. This will help decrease the cost of grade 12 students Prom tickets.
