CRYSLER — A celebration spontaneously erupted at Crysler’s Old General this morning as a substantial lottery prize winner learned of their $100,000 windfall.
A news tipster’s spouse witnessed the apparent win at the establishment.
A man answering the phone at the Old General Store conceded, “We did have a little celebration here this morning,” but was uncomfortable providing further details.
Galit Solomon of the Ontario Lottery Corporation said the organization wouldn’t know the lucky person’s identity until the prize is collected at a local OLG gaming centre — such as Rideau Carleton Raceway — or the main Toronto prize centre.
Wins of $250,000 and above are exclusively distributed at the Toronto site.
