Federal offender captured by ROPE squad

Patrick St. Denis has been captured.

TORONTO — The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) squad says they’ve apprehended a federal offender who went unlawfully at large on March 31.

Patrick St. Denis was picked up in Ottawa without incident by the provincial unit on April 5.

The offender is serving a two-year, five-month and 2- day sentence for Trafficking in a Schedule I/II Substance, Fail to Comply with Condition of Undertaking, Fail to Appear for Court and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000.

The Provincial ROPE Squad expresses thanks to the public and media for their assistance in this investigation.
