Juliannah’s Bridal in Moose Creek donating use of dresses at May 5 fashion show

Thank you to everyone who came out to the Paint Night Prom Fundraiser that took place on Thursday, April 20, and sold out. Thank you to our principal Brenda Beaudette, who was the artist, and to everyone who helped out with the event.

Grade 12 students can purchase their prom tickets until Friday, April 28, for $80, as the date has been extended. Students are reminded that they need to have their 40 hours of community service completed before they can purchase their Prom tickets. Prom will be held at Stanley’s Olde Maple Lane Farm on Thursday, June. 1.

This year’s Fashion Show is set to take place on Friday, May 5. Students can buy out of their period 4 class for $2 until Tuesday, May 2 to watch the Grade 12 class strut their stuff. Dresses are being generously donated by Juliannah’s Bridal in Moose Creek.

Secondary report cards will be going home today (Wednesday, April 26) during block D.

The Intermediate Read-A-Thon and book fair is set to take place on Friday, April 28. Students can wear their pyjamas and bring a book to read.

The EOSSAA Championship in Casselman took place yesterday (Tuesday, Apr. 25). Good luck to Jarrett Williams and Katherine Steele who will be competing.

The Girls’ Rugby Team won against Osgoode 5-0 on Friday, April 21 at NDDHS. They also won against Holy Trinity 24-5, but lost against St. Joe’s 0-5.
