Tony Clement to headline local Conservative dinner in Chesterville

MP Tony Clement will be keynote speaker when local Conservatives dine in Chesterville later this month.

CORNWALL — MP Tony Clement will deliver the keynote address as the Stormont-Dundas-South Glengarry Conservative Association hosts its annual dinner May 11 at the Chesterville Legion.

Two-hundred and twenty-five tickets are available now to members of the public.

A “special welcome greeting” from Tory leader Rona Ambrose is promised — along with the guest speech from Clement, MP for Parry Sound-Muskoka and a former Harper government cabinet minister in the portfolios of Health, Industry and President of the Treasury Board.

In addition to a “fantastic” buffet meal, dinner goers are expected to chew over the party’s “exciting times ahead,” including the upcoming election of a new Tory leader and the path to a successful 2019 federal election.

S-D-SG is held by the Official Opposition Conservatives, represented by long-time local MP Guy Lauzon, caucus colleague of both Ambrose and Clement.

Those interested in attending may RSVP and purchase tickets online at the local Conservative Association’s website, www.sdsgconservative.ca, via email at sdsgconservative@gmail.com, or by phoning Adrian Bugelli at (613) 290-7135.
