TR Leger sending more graduates to college than ever

CORNWALL — Graduates of the flexible learning environment at the TR Leger School of Adult, Alternative and Continuing Education are heading to college.

Fifty-seven students have earned admission to Ontario colleges this year alone. Principal Sandy McInnes says the school is well on track to exceeding the 78 acceptances earned throughout 2016.

“Not everyone can fit into the mold of the traditional high school environment,” explained McInnes. “At TR we offer flexible scheduling and programs such as the Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) program – which helps students close the gap on the number of credits required for graduation.”
