WINCHESTER — The trucks have been rolling in to Winchester BMR all week as the local retailer ramps up for the height of the planting and backyard preparation season.

The garden centre is now chock full of annuals, perennials and — as co-owner Ken Boje points out — vegetable plants, too. They stock aquatic plants as well, for the available assortment of pond kits in their inventory.

And for those thinking of planting some stones or bricks into the ground — whether  patio, pond or walkway — the County Rd. 31 establishment offers an array of products to make the project a reality from start to finish. From flagstone to brick-style stones of various styles and shapes, the retailer stocks a broad selection for awesome appeal underfoot.  There’s a deal on right now for patio and interlocking stones and increasingly popular composite decking that has the look of wood but none of the maintenance.

See the special interlocking display area, right across from the burgeoning garden centre.

From gleaming barbecues and lawnmowers and fertilizer, every rake and yard tool imaginable, BMR has the home and garden enthusiast fully covered.
