CHESTERVILLE — Enjoy tea in honour of our late Sovereign, Queen Victoria, this afternoon at the Chesterville Heritage Centre.

The Chesterville & District Historical Society’s early ‘Victoria Day’ event runs 1-4 p.m. at the 14 Victoria Street Centre. A modest admission charge does apply.

Born May 24, 1819, Queen Victoria reigned over the British empire — including the Dominion of Canada — from 1837 until her death in 1909.
