NORTH GLENGARRY —  SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic situation on May 20, at a business on Main St. in North Glengarry at 1:14 a.m.. An investigation indicated that an adult male had assaulted his girlfriend and damaged her belongings.

An adult male, 32, from Penetanguishene, Ont. was arrested and is charged with: assault and mischief.

The male was released and is scheduled to appear in Cornwall court on June 27.

The names of the accused is being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victim.

SOUTH DUNDAS — SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic situation on May 20, at a residence on County Rd. 18, South Dundas at 2:36 a.m. Investigation indicated that an adult female had assaulted her ex-boyfriend and damaged his belongings.

An adult female, 29, from Cornwall  was arrested and is charged with: assault, mischief under $5000, and unlawfully in dwelling House.

The female was released and is scheduled to appear in Cornwall court on June 13.

The names of the accused persons are being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victim.

SOUTH DUNDAS — SD&G OPP responded to a report of a theft of a motor vehicle  on May 20, from a residence on County Road 18, South Dundas at 8:07 a.m. Investigation indicated that sometime between May 19-20, a 2009 Silver Dodge Caravan with Ontario licence plate (BNZV081) was removed from the property.

An investigation continues.

Traffic stop results in charges

SOUTH DUNDAS— An OPP officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation at 8:40 a.m. on Carman Rd., South Dundas on May 21. A check of the male driver revealed his driving privileges disqualified stemming from previous driving related offences.

Jesse Foster, 32,  of North Grenville, Ontario was arrested and is charged with: driving while disqualified.

He was released and scheduled to appear in Morrisburg court on July 11.
