Two day year end trip for Grades 8 & 9, Senior Art Show — June 9

Students will be showing their school spirit by participating in Hawaiian Spirit Day on Wednesday, May 24!

Prom is just around the corner! On Thursday, June 1, senior students will be attending their Prom at the beautiful Stanley’s Olde Maple Lane Farm.

Secondary yearbooks with began selling outside of guidance Tuesday, May 23, for $40. Sales will continue until Tuesday, June 6.

On June 8 and June 9, Grade 8 students will be going on a year end trip for two days. This trip will only cost $40 per person which will include transportation, meals and activities. The permission form and money are asked to be returned to the school this week.

The 18th annual senior art show will be taking place in Friday, June 9 from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m.

Student Council speeches for the 2017-2018 school year will be taking place in the gym on Friday, May 26 during block C.

Payton Halpenny is acclaimed for Prime Minister, Jarrett Williams is acclaimed for Minister of Athletics, Katherine Steele is acclaimed for Minister of Social Activities, Rosie Backes and Maddison Geertsma are running for Minister of Communications, and Curtis Barkley, Adam Geertsma, and Maddison Barkley are running for Minister of Commerce. Good luck to everyone running for these executive positions for the next school year.

The Intermediate WEB leaders held a dance on Friday, May 19 and are proud to say that they raised about $500 for Jonathan Pitre!

Congratulations to the four track and field athletes for qualifying for the East Regional Track and Field Meet that will take place Thursday, May 25, and Friday, May 26 at the Terry Fox Facility.

Congratulations to the girls rugby team for playing very well this past week. They lost by three tries against St. Joe’s, and won against Tagwi the next day.
