Old Town Hall presents Radical Science and Mr. Smith the illusionist this summer

WINCHESTER — Looking for something fun, educational, and inexpensive to do with the kids this summer? Be sure to check out Radical Science a learn about carbon dioxide on July 27 at 1 p.m. presented by Little Rays Reptiles.

Carbon Dioxide: Everyone’s favourite gas

Grab your carbon dioxide and explore the many uses of the versatile gas!

Then you will learn about carbon dioxide in its solid form … dry ice!

Experiment with the ice — it doesn’t melt.

There will be plenty of opportunities for volunteer scientists.

Explore the ways to create it, taste it, catch it, pour it, and burp it!

Next month will feature the magician/illusionist “Mr.Smith” from Orbital Talent on August 31 at 1:00 p.m. Both of the events will be hosted by The Old Town Hall.

“Mr. Smith” from Orbital Talent

Mr.Smith is one of Ottawa’s most entertaining and up and coming illusionists. He will be performing a busker show that is full of audience participation, juggling, a bit of magic, tricks with the kids and comedy that’s great for all ages.

The cost for both events is $5 per person and will run 45-60 minutes.
