‘You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown’ to be performed by local youth starting tomorrow evening

WINCHESTER — As part of their summer youth program, the Dundas County Players are presenting You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown starting tomorrow night at the Old Town Hall in Winchester.  

The act is directed by Lauren Casselman and the music direction and live accompaniment is headed by Tom Henbest.

The play is a comedic, feel good musical based on the Comic Strip “Peanuts” by Charles M. Schulz, and the book, music and lyrics by Clark Gesneron. It is choreographed by Chantalyne Leonhardt.

There will be a total of four shows from August 3 to 6.

  • Thursday August 3 — 7 p.m.
  • Friday August 4 — 7 p.m.
  • Saturday August 5 — 2 p.m. matinee
  • Sunday August 6 — 2 p.m. matinee

The cast and stage crew consists of youth ranging from 10 to 16 years of age. The show is run completely by volunteers

Tickets can be reserved by calling 613-297-0097, bought online at DCPlaryers.ca, or purchased at The Planted Arrow in Winchester.  Your reserved tickets will be waiting for you at the Old Town Hall ticket desk before the show.
