WINCHESTER — Local entrepreneur and owner of Annable’s Jewellery Gary Annable is hanging up his jeweller’s loop after dedicating the past 38 years of his life to the vocation.

To celebrate his many years of success his friends and colleagues are organizing a Wine & Cheese retirement party in his honour. The event is set for Wednesday, August 23 from 4-6 p.m. at the 513 Main Street West store in Winchester. Speeches and presentations will begin at 5 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend. No RSVP is necessary.

Building to repurposed: Gary Annable told Nation Valley News that he’s sold his Winchester Main Street building to Lisa Williams, owner of Main Street Clothing — a fact confirmed by Williams earlier this summer. But for now, the gift shop continues to hold a retirement sale. Zandbergen photo, Nation Valley News
