FINCH — Barnstorm 18 again brought a spark of live musical energy to Michael ‘tic’ Houston’s rural North Stormont place on the weekend.
Skies were clear, the late-summer weather was great, and the farmstead on Concession 3-4 throbbed with the sounds of six bands playing inside the retro rustic barn. Outdoors, the nooks and crannies of the former farmyard flickered with bonfires — including a burning piano — a fireworks display, lasers playing over the exterior of the barn and an ongoing lit-up disco floor beside a shed.
