Three males arrested after stolen property recovered at home in Cardinal

PRESCOTT — OPP Community Street Crime Unit, ERT,  Grenville County OPP and the K-9 Unit, executed a search warrant on Thursday, August, 31 at 10 a.m. at a residence on County Rd. 2, in Cardinal.

The OPP recovered over $10,000 worth of stolen property and three people were arrested and charged under the Criminal Code.

Travis Towns-Chapman, age 26, from Edwardsburgh/Cardinal Township is charged with: possession of property obtained by crime over $5000, and possession of methamphetamine.

He was held for bail and will appear before the Superior Court of Justice on September 1.

Christopher Cinnamon, age 45, of South Dundas Township is charged with: possession of property obtained by crime over $5000, possession of methamphetamine, and failure to comply with recognizance.

Mark Chapman, age 50, of Edwardsburgh/Cardinal Township, is charged with: possession of property obtained by crime over $5000, and possession of methamphetamine.

The last two mentioned accused, were released on a Promise to Appear at the Brockville Ontario Court of Justice, on October the 20.
