WINCHESTER — Winchester Sunday Market will be holding a special “Healthy Children, Happy Families” day, Sunday, September 10, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., in celebration of children, grandparents, and the larger community family. Vendors will be on hand to answer questions about how they grow and make their products, and offer child-sized products. There will be an activities tent for the little ones and water bowls set out for visiting doggies. Special musical guests will be The Mighty Harmonics band.
Market organizers are especially proud that guest author, Guy Lauzon, MP, will be on hand to sign copies of his new book, “Lawbreaker to Lawmaker”. “There are many families affected by addictions, and Mr. Lauzon’s book is undoubtedly quietly changing lives for the better,” says Ann Brady, market manager. Local author, Clare Korth, will also be on hand with her new children’s book, “Tinky and the Hippie Lady”, a gentle tale about rescue dogs and the people who love them.
Winchester Sunday Market runs every Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Sweet Corner Park, through October 1. Heavy rain location: the Lion’s Pavilion at 100 Club Park, Winchester.
