Snowplow skills on display in Cornwall, Sept. 12-13

CORNWALLThe skills of snowplow operators will be on display at the Cornwall Civic Complex when back-to-back truck ‘roadeos’ roll into the city.

The Sept. 12-13 competitions are respectively put on by the Eastern Ontario Road Supervisors Association (EORSA) and the Association of Ontario Road Supervisors (AORS)

Drivers will compete in the skills circuit, including a written test, truck inspection and obstacle course while driving a snowplow at 100 Water Street East. The top two drivers from the EORSA event will move forward to compete in the provincial AORS event with drivers representing 33 associations from across Ontario.



Kyoshi Norm Beauchamp of Therien Martial Arts and Fitness Centre will be inducted into the Canadian Black Belt Hall of Fame on Nov. 4. See the congratulatory video celebrating this achievement.
