WINCHESTER — Student athletes will hoof it through Winchester as North Dundas District High School hosts its annual cross-country invitational meet in the village this Friday.

Various age groups disembark from the Joel Steele Community Centre starting at 10:15 a.m., on distances ranging from three to six kilometres.

Spectators are welcome, including grandparents, says volunteer coach Joe Groeneveld.

The event is sponsored by The Planted Arrow, the Dundas Milk Committee, Mike Dean’s and the House of Lazarus.
