WINCHESTER — Let the bargain shopping begin! Winchester is now home to its very own Dollarama. Doors opened for business at 9 this morning.

The ribbon was officially cut shortly after, with Mayor Eric Duncan and MPP Jim McDonell in attendance.

The discount retailer’s representatives on hand for the occasion were friendly but tight-lipped, directing all media questions to their Toronto-based headquarters. Photographs were not permitted inside the store.

The outlet’s debut leaves only one empty storefront remaining in the Foodland mini-mall.
