Charges of sexual assault, distributing intimate images without consent, for North Dundas man

NORTH DUNDAS — A 31-year-old North Dundas man has been charged with sexual assault, criminal harassment and other alleged crimes that came to light when a recent domestic situation triggered a police investigation.

According to the SD&G OPP, the accused also faces charges of assault, distributing intimate images without consent and possession of a controlled substance.

Arrested Oct. 12, he was held in custody pending an appearance in Cornwall court. His name has been withheld to protect the identity of the victim.

Breach in North Dundas

NORTH DUNDAS — A North Dundas man faces multiple allegations of breaching previous release conditions.

Police say that John Ladouceur, 55, has been charged with three counts of Fail to Comply with Probation Order and two counts of Fail to Comply with Undertaking.

Officers arrested the accused on Oct. 12, after responding to a report of a male violating his conditions on County Rd. 3 at 1:42 p.m.

He was held in custody pending an Oct. 13 bail appearance in Cornwall.  

Impaired driving

SOUTH DUNDAS — Police say an already disqualified driver was behind the wheel and under the influence of alcohol when officers stopped him Oct. 10.

The motorist was pulled over around 8:10 p.m. on Carman Rd.

According to the SD&G OPP, 33-year-old Craig Hodgson, of South Dundas, was arrested and charged with: Care or Control of a Motor Vehicle with Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in blood; Driving a Motor Vehicle while Impaired; and Drive Disqualified.

He was released and scheduled to appear in Morrisburg court on Nov. 14.             

ATV theft

SOUTH DUNDAS — An ATV was stolen from an Irena Rd. residence sometime overnight, Oct. 10-11.

The SD&G OPP say the 2007 Grey Yamaha Rhino had Ontario licence plate 7DY57.
