MORRISBURG — All charges against a Winchester senior citizen were stayed — withdrawn — in Morrisburg court last week, the Ottawa Sun reports.
James ‘Jimmy’ Wise had been accused of possessing and trafficking in property obtained by crime — along with break and enter, assault, obstructing a peace officer and mischief — after the SD&G OPP executed a search warrant at his then-Caleb St. address on Nov. 11, 2016.
Wise currently resides at Dundas Manor.

Raymond Arnold Collison’s remains were discovered on Steen Rd., April 17, 2014.

Police said the warrant against Wise, then 73, resulted from a tip about alleged stolen property generated during an ongoing homicide investigation into the demise of Raymond Arnold Collison. Almost five years after his disappearance, the remains of the 58-year-old Chesterville man turned up in a ditch outside Morewood, in 2014.
No one has been charged in Collison’s death.
