DIXONS CORNERS — Community Living Dundas County held their ninth annual Ladies Night Out event at Matilda Hall in Dixons Corners last Thursday night.

The event included many vendors, fashion shows and presentations.

Long-time employee and recently retired Marlene Lewis was present with a certificate of appreciation for her hard work and dedication over the years.

Office Administrator Shayla Brush explained that Lewis was the “brains of the operation … we’re just following suit.”

It was Lewis that first came up with the idea to have the Ladies Night Out, nine years ago and has been a big part of the affair ever since.

This annual ladies evening always draws a huge crowd. So much so in fact that the past two years they have sold out of tickets at the door.

Brush claimed they, “would love to accommodate more guests and are looking into finding a solution for next year.”

“We’re so grateful to everybody here. Thank you to our guests, donors, and vendors for making our ninth annual Ladies Night such a success. We’re so thankful for all of the amazing community support,” said Brush.
