Local ‘Monster Mash’ music video to officially debut tonight at McCloskey’s

A still frame from Johnson's video that will officially debut this evening at McCloskey's.

CHESTERVILLE — New life has been breathed into Bobby “Boris” Pickett and the Crypt-Kickers’ 1962 hit, thanks to a fun new video shot at McCloskey’s.

Director Ami Johnson will officially debut her ‘Monster Mash’ production tonight, Oct. 31, on the big screen at the 22 Victoria Street venue in Chesterville.

The video features a number of locals in ghoulish make-up and costumes rocking out — and staggering about — to the iconic Halloween tune on the hotel stage. Manager Dan Riitano also makes a cameo appearance.
