Valuables, vehicle stolen from Embrun residence with occupant still at home

EMBRUN — An Embrun woman was robbed during a late-night break-in occurring while she was at home on Oct. 28.

She was not injured and managed to contact police after the brazen thief (or thieves) left the dwelling with stolen valuables and her vehicle. Russell County OPP responded to the west neighbourhood address around 1:40 a.m.

The vehicle was later retrieved near the residence.
