NORTH DUNDAS — SD&G OPP officers located and arrested a wanted North Dundas man shortly before 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 9.
Anthony Levere, 31, is charged with Fail to Comply with Recognizance, according to the local detachment.
The accused was held in custody pending a bail appearance in Cornwall.
Chainsaw taken during shed break-in
NORTH DUNDAS — A chainsaw and fuel were stolen from a shed at a Van Camp Rd. residential property last week.
The break-in occurred sometime at night, between Nov. 6 and Nov. 9, according to the SD&G OPP.
An investigation continues.
Honda generator stolen
SOUTH GLENGARRY — A Honda generator was stolen from a South Service Rd. business last week.
The SD&G OPP report that the culprit or culprits took the machine from a construction site at the address sometime overnight, Nov. 8-9.
Tools stolen from Whipperwill Lane garage
SOUTH DUNDAS — Several tools were taken during a break-in at a residential garage on Whipperwill Lane.
The SD&G OPP report that the theft occurred sometime between Oct. 30 and Nov. 9.
Fraud charges laid in North Glengarry
NORTH GLENGARRY — A Quebec man has been charged for allegedly using a variety of false identification to obtain funds at a Main Street business on Nov. 9.
SD&G OPP officers responded to the address at just after 4:20 p.m., arresting 43-year-old Sebastien Dube of Chateauguay.
He’s charged with: Possession of an Identity Document (three counts); Fraud Under $5,000; and Fail to Comply with Probation Order.
The accused was held in custody pending a bail appearance in Cornwall court.
