Friday and Saturday

WINCHESTER — A new daycare outlet — Seize the Day Care & Programs — will showcase its services 1 to 5 p.m. today (Friday, Dec. 15) and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. tomorrow (Saturday, Dec. 16) in Winchester.

Located at the North Dundas Business Centre — 457 Main Street, Winchester — the operation includes a cooperative play group, a half-day preschool educational program, along with youth-led youth clubs, and adult wellness classes, arts, special interests and more, according to project spearhead Brenda Norman, also known as the founder of Kozroots Community Empowerment Projects.

The Dec. 15-16 open house days promise a good time learning about the activities at Seize the Day Care & Programs, where the programming is touted as being “fun,” “holistic,” and “focussed on ecological principles.”

Organizers also invite facilitators and instructors to join them at the open house events, or to contact them with activities they may want to offer at Seize the Day Care & Programs.

Organizers are also thanking members of the community for donated equipment, toys and other items already received, adding in a press release: “The environment is one you will want to really check out.”
