NORTH GLENGARRY — Police have released the name of the driver killed Jan. 13 in a single-vehicle collision on Highway 417.
Matthias Foks, 23, of Ottawa was headed eastbound in a passenger vehicle that left the roadway and rolled over into the centre median at mile marker 40 in North Glengarry. He was pronounced dead in hospital.
SD&G OPP officers responded to the scene shortly before 1:25 p.m. An investigation continues involving the local detachment and OPP Traffic Collision investigators.
The fatal incident was among 78 motor vehicle collisions investigated by the SD&G OPP over the weekend.
