This show will be performed on weekends from Friday June 15 to Sunday June 24, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. Rehearsals will begin mid-March. It is produced by JP Leduc and directed by Amanda Burger, with musical direction by Colleen Howard.

“Laugh On”, will be a combination of both structured and collaboratively work-shopped cabaret/variety acts, loosely based on the 1960’s television show “Laugh In.” We want a diverse lineup of music from the 60’s and 70’s that will include “show tunes”, pop and rock, folk, jazz and blues standards. Singers are asked to choose a song amongst these types of music. Interspersed between the music and other acts will be comedy sketches done by the “actors”. Therefore, people who do not wish to sing/dance etc but are interested in acting are also invited to audition.

Please note: Unless singers accompany themselves with a musical instrument, all songs must be available on Karaoke track. Please ensure prior to auditioning a karaoke track can be obtained for the song you wish to perform. There is no need to buy the karaoke track for the audition, instead be prepared to sing it ‘a cappella.’

Auditions will be scheduled to ensure performers are not waiting a long time. To reserve a time slot, please contact Amanda Burger (zelzouamb@gmail.com or call 613-346-5064).
