Police seeking public’s assistance after road-raged male damages motorist’s vehicle during roadside quarrel

EMBRUN — Police are seeking the public’s assistance after a male damaged a vehicle during a motorist dispute Monday evening shortly before 6:00 p.m.

The suspect vandalized a vehicle with a weapon in the parking lot of K. C’s motel on Burton Rd. North of Embrun following a dispute between him and another driver.

According to police the suspect exited his vehicle, approached the other driver, brandishing a weapon and caused damage to a vehicle. The victim managed to get away and he called 911. The victim saw the suspect male leaving the scene travelling westbound on Burton Rd.

The male suspect is described as an English-speaking caucasian male, approximately 30-years-old, 6’2″ with a slim build, and two days growth of a beard.

He drove a dark coloured vehicle with a loose muffler, possibly a Nissan. His Ontario license number is thought to start with a “B”.
